Repairs

Butler Avionics, Inc. is an FAA Approved Repair Station, Air Agency Certificate # TF2R185L (EASA.145.6557). We repair and overhaul legacy avionics instruments and equipment.

Our service department technicians have decades of hands-on industry experience, with various workers specializing in project logistics, troubleshooting, and component repair. Our team includes previous members of the USAF and the US Navy, some of whom have worked on avionics for over 40 years.


Restorations

We restore a variety of avionics equipment including autopilot systems, GPS and Nav/com systems, audio ADF and ILS systems, transponders, DME’s, headsets, and more. Butler Avionics, Inc. is an FAA Approved Repair Station, Air Agency Certificate # TF2R185L. Butler Avionics possesses PMA, allowing for the manufacture of replacement parts for obsolete components.

Examples of common restorations include cosmetic and legibility improvements, stack upgrades, and component replacements. In addition to being a marked cosmetic improvement, refurbishing parts may help extend the serviceable lifetime and improve the safety of legacy aircraft.

Retrofits

Rather install a new part than repair an old one? Our installation team has you covered. We are a certified installation center for Garmin, Rockwell Collins, S-TEC/Genesys, Aspen Avionics, and L-3. Common installations include glass cockpit retrofits, autopilot upgrades, radio upgrades, ADS-B equipment installations, and more.
